Non-Exempt Temporary or Casual Astronomical Observations (Gehrz)

Job Duties
30% Assist with assembly, maintenance, testing, and use of infrared detection equipment for calibration experiments in the laboratory

50% Astronomical observations at O'Brien and Mt. Lemmon Observatories. Duties will also include analysis of data obtained with these systems.

20% Other duties of a similar scope as assigned.

Required Qualifications
BA/BS degree in Physics or Astrophysics or related field.

Preferred Qualifications
Have taken AST 2001

Fixed Pay Rate: $15.50/hour
