We are looking for a Transport Driver to be responsible for safely and efficiently delivering fuel to a variety of locations to include Gas Stations, Construction sites, large freight and equipment companies, etc., while providing excellent customer service and maintaining a professional image as part of the company team. We use Peterbilt's and Kenworth's, mainly Cummins 565HP with 18 speeds. This is a day shift position starting at 5:00am with days off on Tue, Wed, & Thu (four day work week schedule).

You'll report to the Director of Transportation working out of our Missoula, Montana location (position could also be located in Kalispell), focusing on these key responsibilities:

• Deliver fuel to a variety of locations
• Requires Current CDL Class A
  
  
  
  • Hazmat, Doubles Triples, Tankers preferred
  • We can aid in acquiring endorsements
  
  
  
  
• 2 years driving experience in Class 8 vehicle
• Strong customer service skills
• Current Driver Certification Card (Physical)
• Must be able to pass:

  • Reference Check
  • Background Check
  • Motor vehicle records check
  
  
  
  
• Must have basic knowledge of and comply with all D.O.T. industry and company safety regulations
• Must be capable of analyzing and understanding general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures and government rules and regulations
• Must have the ability to calculate figures and amounts such as proportions, percentages, and volume
• Must be capable of problem solving in stressful situations and making decisions based on training provided
• Other duties as assigned

• Current CDL with hazardous material, tanker, and airbrake endorsements or the ability to obtain.
• Must pass a drug test, reference check, background check and motor vehicle records check before hire when driving hazardous materials.
• Must have basic knowledge of and comply with all DOT industry and company safety regulations.
• Willing to work long hours to meet customer needs, including evenings and weekends
• Ability to read and analyze general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, and government rules and regulations.
• Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages and volume.
• Willing to be on-call on a rotating schedule once fully trained.
• Experience operating a manual transmission helpful
• Strong Communication and organizational skills
• Knowledge and experience in the fuel and oil industry preferred
• Customer service experience
