Folder

Technician will fold and compile material by verifying the style and any special instruction from the work tickets/shop order. Technician will assist in laying out the material. The Technician will assist with operation of the Cutting Machine and other duties as assigned.

Function: Laying out and Compiling material cut

• Read work tickets/shop order. Verify the style, any special instructions, and verify fabric.
• Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds.
• Manipulate the material by sorting, smoothing, bundling, etc.
• Verify that material has been laid out and cut per the style, special instructions, grain, patterns or type of fabric
• Lay out material for the cutting machine
• Mark and tie material into a bundle. Knowledgeable of when material should not be bundled.
• Assist with operation of the Cutting Machine
• Maintain a neat and orderly work area on a daily basis

• Available to work overtime as needed
• Comply with quality and quantity standard

Function: Other Department Functions

• Assist Technician II's and III's
• Willing to assist other departments/cells or accept additional tasks

Function: Follow Safety and KI - High Point rules, regulations and policies

• Comply with Safety rules and regulations (examples: Safety Glasses, ensure that knifes have appropriate guards).
• Comply with KI - High Point rules, regulations and policies in the Employee Handbook, Safety Manual, posted or any that the employee is notified of.
