PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
*MRI scanning and experimental support. *Screening and processing human subjects for neuroimaging research studies. *Analyzing and processing neuroimaging data using software, including Statistical Parametric Mapping (SPM), Freesurfer, and/or FSL. *Writing computer programs and scripts in language(s) including C, Python, Matlab, and/or Linux. *Managing large datasets using tools that include SQL-based data storage. *Preparing and presenting data through abstracts and manuscripts. *Assisting with Institutional Review Board (IRB) protocol preparation records management. SKILLS & COMPETENCIES REQUIRED: *Prior experience in brain imaging research and use of neuroimaging software, such as FSL/Freesurfer/AFNI/SPM (preferred, but not required) *Strong motivation to develop expertise in processing data across imaging domains. *Strong computing skills and the ability to work with large datasets. *Working knowledge of linux operating systems, MATLAB/Python, and shell scripting. *Good understanding of statistics and the ability to conduct basic statistical analyses including ANOVA, general linear models (GLMs), multiple regression, as well as machine learning and multivariate statistics. Education Field of Study/Additional Specialized Training: Computer science, Neuroscience, Biomedical Engineering, or related science field.
