Echo Cardiac Analyst - per diem & part time available

Will assist with high-level, complex research including but not limited to echocardiographic analysis and data quality assurance. The Echocardiographic Analyst will have the opportunity to interact with research collaborators within other Harvard departments and at other institutions across the U.S. and other countries around the world.
Essential Functions
-Performs echocardiographic analysis of heart size and function in a high quality, scientific, and reproducible manner.
-Implements and documents technical QC/QA procedures including the over-reading of measurements and the reproducibility of analysis.
-Assists with the creation, testing, and validation of study specific databases and analysis software.
-Provides other echocardiographic technical research support as per the CICL Directors as it relates to the overall research scope of the Cardiac Imaging Core Lab.
-Maintain appropriate document control standards per standards of practice.
-Serves as an integral part of the research team and provides general expertise and technical principal.

Education
Bachelor's Degree Related Field of Study required or Master's Degree Related Field of Study preferred

Experience
research experience 3-5 years required

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Strong research design and analytical skills.
- Strong computer and database statistical skills.
- Excellent time management/organizational skills.
- Able to multitask and assign priorities in a busy, challenging environment.
- Ability to work as part of an interdisciplinary research team.
