Job Summary

The Warehouse Assembly Clerk supports the daily warehouse operations with assembly production to operate at maximum efficiency while meeting all safety and quality requirements. This position is primarily responsible for putting together component parts adhering to a specified work instruction, as assisting with filling customer orders and warehouse shipping and receiving. This role is expected to adhere to all company policies and safety protocols.

Core Responsibilities Required to be Successful as a Warehouse Assembly Specialist



  • Responsible for performing and ensuring the execution of kit assembling to achieve the daily production goals defined by the company.
  • Follows work order instructions and assembling parts accurately, thoroughly, and efficiently to approved specifications.
  • Hands on performance and knowledge of each piece of equipment used in the operation.
  • Inspects products to ensure safety and quality standards are met.
  • Operates various production equipment, such as pneumatic tooling and air compressors in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Retrieves customer orders from warehouse shelves, ensuring accuracy based on the item number, serial numbers, size, quantity, etc.
  • Assists with inventory cycle counts on a regular basis.
  • Manages shipment and receipt of all products, materials, and supplies via UPS, FedEx, and other freight companies.
  • Ensures warehouse facility and designated work area remain clean; practice good housekeeping habits that promote a healthy, safe work environment.
  • Other job duties as assigned.


Basic Qualifications



  • High School diploma or GED equivalent (Required)
  • 1 to 3 months of related experience and/or training (Required)
  • Hazmat Certified (Preferred)


Skills That Will Make You Successful




  • Ability to frequently perform repetitive wrist, elbow, arm, foot movement and work with small parts and connectors.
  • Ability to frequently lift, pull, and push objects that are up to 50 pounds without assistance
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment to maintain daily quota while keeping quality in check.
  • Ability to operate standard warehouse equipment (i.e. forklift, hand truck, pallet jack, etc.)
  • Standing, stooping, squatting, can be expected along with other means transfer of parts
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination
  • Self-motivated and works well in a team environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Quick learner

Qualifications
Education
High School (required)
Experience
Hazmat Certification (preferred)
Warehouse assembly related experience and/or training (preferred)
