We are seeking a passionate and strategic Health Improvement & Impact Specialist to champion initiatives that enhance team member belonging, advance equity, and contribute to a more inclusive and authentic workplace culture.

In this pivotal role, you will design and implement high-impact programs and resources that promote cultural awareness, workplace respect, and team member engagement. You'll work cross-functionally with key departmentsincluding Human Resources, Legal, Strategy & Innovation, and Complianceto drive system-wide impact that aligns with our mission to improve community health.

What Youll Do:
Lead and support inclusive culture and belonging programs, training workshops, and events across the health system.
Partner with data teams to analyze demographic and workforce trends, generating insights that guide improvement strategies.
Support and expand team member resource groups that celebrate diversity and foster connection.
Serve as a subject-matter expert in inclusive practices and change management, consulting on policy development and workforce initiatives.
Collaborate on internal and external communications to ensure culturally relevant messaging across platforms.
Maintain awareness of emerging trends, legislation, and best practices related to health equity and inclusion.
Build meaningful partnerships with external organizations and internal stakeholders to address social determinants of health.

The ability to work with sensitivity, confidentiality, and cross-cultural awareness.
Experience interpreting data and influencing decision-making with a focus on continuous improvement.

Requirements

Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications or similar).

Experience: 3-5 years of relevant work experience in Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (or advancing a culture of belonging), including working with multidisciplinary teams to implement initiatives. Strong background in training development and facilitation, and policy interpretation.

Certification: Advanced Human Resources or Diversity, Equity and Inclusion certification preferred.

License: N/A

Other: A passion for fostering an inclusive workplace and community environment Advanced experience developing and facilitating programs that enhance cultural competency and address social barriers to health Strong project management capabilities, with a demonstrated ability to prioritize, track, and report on multiple initiatives Proven ability to handle sensitive matters with discretion and professionalism Excellent verbal, written, and organizational skills and ability to engage diverse audiences and stakeholders Ability to use Microsoft Office platforms, particularly Word, Excel and PowerPoint required.

Preferred Skills Familiarity with compliance frameworks and health equity regulations Experience with employee resource groups (ERGs) or diversity-focused initiatives in healthcare and/or large organizations Ability to adapt strategies in a fast-paced, evolving healthcare environment
