The Security Infrastructure Lead is responsible for the installation, preventive maintenance and repair of security hardware, including but not limited to CCTV systems, access control hardware, visitor systems, intercoms and hands-free phones. This individual will lead a team of service and project personnel and administer the security infrastructure G&A and capital expense budgets. The lead establishes practices that foster a high degree of systems uptime, promotes the analysis of data to continuously improve team and vendor performance, seeks opportunities to optimize systems and processes, and spends responsibly to achieve protection goals. The lead drives standards-compliant technical solutions and carefully analyzes the risks associated with new or non-standard solutions. The lead works closely with a team of Security Technical Team peers to implement the department's technology strategy. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Oversee security technology project management and security system service, repair, and preventative maintenance.
- Lead a staff that is responsible for all enterprise security infrastructure installation and service, including mechanical access and key supplies.
- Manage the annual Capital and G&A budgets for security technologies and infrastructure.
- Manage the security technology request and system repair ticket system (SOS System).
- Prepare and present metrics regarding spend and service trends and develop new strategies for efficiencies based on the data.
- Oversee security and fire infrastructure asset management and lifecycle planning.
- Write statements of work (SOW) for security technology contracts, and work closely with Purchasing to benchmark, qualify, and select suppliers for future contracts.
- Manage security technology suppliers; drive for performance and evaluate supplier adherence to contract KPIs.
- Ensure suppliers are provided with necessary Stellantis provided equipment and are up to date on all required safety training.
- Provide quality assurance for all scopes of work, including installation/project/service proposals.
- Ensure installations meet the applicable standards, codes, and regulations.
- Evaluate new technologies and implement or make recommendations as appropriate.
- Develop security systems standards and policies.
- Partner with Technical Services peers, Security Site Leads, and Technology Specialists to implement technical initiatives.
- Be a key stakeholder in developing the department's security technology strategy.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field from an accredited institution
- 5+ years progressively responsible experience administering, installing, and managing security and/or fire protection technologies (electronic access control, CCTV, fire alarm, special suppression and similar) in manufacturing environments. Experience may be as an end user or with a systems integrator.
- Prior supervisory experience.
- Demonstrated interpersonal, analytical, and decision-making skills appropriate to leading, and engaging with, professionals representing a broad range of technical disciplines and functional departments.
- Understanding of electrical and network infrastructure and installation practices.
- Security and/or fire system repair, maintenance, and service management experience.
- General administrative and business experience, including budgeting and forecasting.
- Cost analysis and/or process improvement experience.
- Proficient computer skills including all Microsoft Office applications.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Training, education, and/or certifications in information technology, fire protection, engineering, or security-related disciplines.
- Project management experience.
- Finance or accounting experience.
- Experience with Schneider Electric security products.
- Avigilon User, Administrator, and Analytics Certifications.
