Milwaukee Public Schools seeks exceptional Instructional Coach - Mathematics (Grades PreK - Grade 5) candidates who are highly qualified and knowledgeable to join our community of teachers, learners, and leaders. The Early Childhood and Elementary Math Instructional Coach is a non-evaluative, non-supervisory teacher-leader position. This individual will collaborate with district math staff, school-based leadership and educators to support the effective implementation of district-adopted math curricula and instructional resources, aligned with the goals of the MPS Ambitious Instruction plan. The coach will leverage expertise in math state standards, developmentally appropriate practices, culturally responsive pedagogy, and data analysis to provide technical assistance and professional learning to teachers in K3 through Grade 5, with the goal of supporting the planning and delivery of high-quality mathematics instruction resulting in increased student achievement. The Instructional Coach - Mathematics (Grades PreK - Grade 5) salary schedule starts at $60,987.04 and increases according to the set salary schedule based on education beyond the required bachelor's degree and previous years of fully-licensed K-12 teaching experience.
