Milwaukee Public Schools seeks exceptional Instructional Coach: Trauma Informed (Grades K-12) candidates who are highly qualified and knowledgeable to join our community of teachers, learners, and leaders. The Instructional Coach - Trauma Informed position utilizes and coordinates evidenced-based resources available to promote trauma-sensitive environments, recognize traumatic stress, and respond to the impact of trauma on the MPS community while resisting re-traumatization. Broad responsibilities include supporting trauma sensitive practices within the school climate and culture as well as promoting the benefits of trauma informed care aimed at improving student wellbeing and outcomes. This position works closely with the principal and other support staff in the building including the school psychologist, social worker, counselor, SEL Champion and parent coordinator, to provide an additional layer of support. This position will develop relationships with support staff to develop collaborative opportunities and to convey/receive pertinent information around traumatic experiences. How To Apply

Salary range: $60,987.04 - 114,217.31 (1D - 200-day calendar) Placement on the salary schedule is based on years of fully licensed teaching/pupil services experience in a k-12 setting and education beyond a bachelor's degree. Equal Employment Opportunity
