TITLE: Infotainment System Requirements Engineer

DUTIES: Define, design, execute, and release Uconnect component requirements to suppliers; Coordinate requirements releases for a cross-functional team of requirements and Human Machine Interface (HMI) engineers; Respond to requirements specification feedback from suppliers; Evaluate feedback by the cross-functional team; Provide technical expertise to the cross functional team with respect to Uconnect core functional requirements; Develop sub-system and component functional requirements; Identify and request LIDs, CAN, ethernet, and PROXI parameters necessary to support features; Perform reviews of functional objectives to confirm objects are satisfied by specs and perform reviews of the owners' manual for feature functionality; Update and maintain subsystem feature DFMEA; Support model development; Respond to RARs and GIMs associated with specifications; Perform peer design review of specifications, including acting as a backup author for specifications; Perform static analysis of specifications and changes; Update on-board requirements fields in Jira.

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree (or foreign academic equivalent) in Electronics Engineering, Embedded Systems Engineering, Computer Engineering or related and 5 years of experience in job offered, related automotive systems engineering or related. Experience must include: defining systems requirements; working with vehicle networks, including CAN; working with infotainment, connectivity, and consumer electronics; working with IBM Rational Change; working with IBM Rational Publishing Engine; using JIRA tools.

OTHER: Job Site: 800 Chrysler Drive, Auburn Hills, MI 48326. 40 hours/week. If offered employment must have legal right to work in U.S.
