Genesis10 is seeking a Scrum Master for a 5 month contract position with a financial services client located in Jersey City, NJ. This is a hybrid position and requires being onsite 1-2 times per week. Summary: Seeking a Scrum Master to join one of our large financial clients to work a hybrid role in Jersey City, NJ. (1-2 days per week onsite) This individual will be joining the Strategic Data Initiative Organization to contribute to the successful delivery of sustainability project that will support the firms ESG goals. The Scrum Master will be joining an in flight agile project with a dedicated team that includes business analysts, developers and product owners. They will also be collaborating technology project managers, business stakeholders, product owners and program managers. On a day to day, they will be facilitating agile ceremonies; daily scrum meetings, backlog grooming, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives. They also will be responsible for working with the project and program management team to provide status reporting , massaging Jira data for stakeholder reporting and project updates to be including in program level reporting. This individual must have excellent communication skills, exhibit strong leadership qualities, and ideally come from a financial services background. Required Skills & Experience: 5+ years as a Scrum Master Financial enterprise experience Excellent communication and leadership skills Experience with driving Agile best practices Strong experience using Jira and leveraging Jira's reporting functionality Experience with corporate banking front office projects a plus Knowledge of microsoft power platform technology a plus The hourly pay rate range for this position is $70 - $80 If you have the described qualifications and are interested in this exciting opportunity, apply today!
