Job Summary

This job will be responsible to help ensure that the plan floor and equipment is clean and free of dust. To help ensure a zero-incident environment in the facility, through audits and actions, both routine and response to uconditions within the plant, provide a clean and safe working condition. Respond appropriately to the removal of any fugitive dust from the process, contain and remove any accidental spills that may occur, as well as maintain the facility in one with 5-S principles.

Duties and Responsibilities

General cleaning of the facilities:

Respond to upset conditions to aid in containment and clean up after.
Routine walks through the facility to audit cleanliness conditions.
Remove fugitive dust, and remove accidental spills.
Responsible for general cleaning of the building
Maintains a safe, neat, orderly, and accident-free work environment, including all warehouse work areas, aisles, trucks, etc.
Cleaning and stocking restrooms and breakrooms
Inventories cleaning supplies & tools
Assist with cleaning truck trailers as necessary
Adheres to company safety policies and OSHA standards
Able to use and operate the following equipment: broom, shovel, mop, pressure washer, and other cleaning equipment as necessary



Safety:

Assist in creating an environment of zero incidents to ensure safety for all team members.
Audit the plant regularly.

Qualification Requirements

Cleaning a warehouse/mill/manufacturing: 1 year (Preferred)

Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds repetatively.



Previous construction general clean up experience is a plus.

* Willing and able to work around moving equipment and machinery, and, at times, confined spaces
* Willing and able to perform essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
