Job Details

Under the direction of the Sr Director, Ambulatory Pharmacy & HGS Implementations, the Engagement Mgr II, Ambulatory Pharmacy & HGS Implementations will serve as the primary point of contact for assigned engagements. The Engagement Mgr II will be responsible for utilizing project management methods and tools.

The position will coordinate internal and external resources to ensure project milestones are successfully completed. This role works closely with Health System customers, subject matter experts, departments and team members across the entire organization, to ensure engagements are successfully implemented.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Works closely with the Sr Director, Pharmacy & Health System Solutions to assist in the development of project methodologies and manages components of the project and implementation plans as assigned.

  • Supports planning and provides project management support for Consignment engagements. Ensuring milestones & deliverables within Cencora's control are successfully completed.

  • Supports planning and provides project management support for CSC engagements. Ensuring milestones & deliverables within Cencora's control are successfully completed.

  • Supports planning and provides project management support for CSC - ADM engagements. Ensuring milestones & deliverables within Cencora's control are successfully completed.

  • Supports planning and provides project management support for Proforma engagements. Ensuring milestones & deliverables within Cencora's control are successfully completed.

  • Supports planning and provides project management support for various customer engagements. Ensuring milestones & deliverables within Cencora's control are successfully completed.

  • Serve as primary point of contact for all assigned customer engagements.

  • Responsible for clearly communicating customer needs and coordinating feedback related to engagements.

  • Provides support for team as needed including but not limited to scheduling team meetings, updating pipelines, creating and modifying templates, etc.

  • Provides timely and concise communications to leadership regarding engagement status.

  • Identifies potential risks within assigned engagements and proactively manages issues.

  • Manages engagements with external team members including customers and health system related vendors.

REQUIREMENTS:
Requires training and experience generally obtained through completion of a four-year bachelor's degree program or equivalent combination of experience and education. Normally requires a minimum of five (5) years directly related and progressively responsible experience.

MINIMUM SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS:
* Demonstrated knowledge, understanding and experience leading projects
* Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing; ability to communicate (and work) effectively with people from different technical and business backgrounds, acting as a liaison, understanding, and appreciating different perspectives and translating into terms necessary for any group or individual to understand.

Ability to lead dynamically and energize work teams to learn and apply new skills and techniques to respond to business needs.
* Good analytical, conceptual and problem-solving skills to evaluate business problems and apply knowledge to identify appropriate solutions.
* Strong interpersonal skills
* Understands how to communicate difficult/sensitive information tactfully. Strong presentation skills and ability to present and discuss strategies and solutions.
* Strong organizational skills; attention to detail
* Ability to resolve issues effectively and efficiently.
* Proficiency with project management tools such as Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel and Word

*This Salary Range reflects a National Average for this job. The actual range may vary based on your locale. Ranges in Colorado/California/Washington/New York/Hawaii/Vermont/Minnesota/Massachusetts/Illinois State-specific locations may be up to 10% lower than the minimum salary range, and 12% higher than the maximum salary range.
