Role Summary:
Reporting to the Total Rewards Manager, the Total Rewards Analyst is a key member of the Human Resources team. The analyst is responsible for day-to-day functions in the areas of payroll, compensation, Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS), talent analytics, and benefits. The analyst will complete complex tasks, project planning and management and coordination with internal and external business partners. This is a hands-on position, ideal for someone who is self-directed, a strong collaborator, critical problem solver, and who enjoys working on a wide breadth of responsibilities.
Exciting work you will do:
The essential duties and responsibilities of the Total Rewards Analyst position will comprise a variation of some or all, and are not limited to, the following:
- Assist in multi-state payroll processing activities for hourly and salaried employees using a third-party payroll system
- Participate in the planning of compensation policy, structures, and procedures
- Maintains the integrity of the compensation program through recommending adjustments to job codes, classifications, ranges, and job descriptions
- Regularly review compensation as a part of the hiring process
- Serve as company-wide compensation lead on assigned projects, developing project plans, coordinating market research, completing impact analysis and transition timelines, and guiding ongoing maintenance
- Conduct monthly commission cycles and bonus programs for multiple plans and different roles
- Identify and drive initiatives to continuously improve, automate, and scale commission structures
- Act as a trusted liaison with sales leadership, financial analysts, and other functional teams
- Proactively anticipate new processes and systems trends within commissions that can drive productivity and build new ways to measure the business
- Evaluate and analyze compensation practices and propose adjustments to base and incentive pay structures
- Assist in the evaluation of total rewards for acquisition targets with respect to compensation and pay issues and help implement the compensation integration strategies and plans
- Provide excellent customer service to Kendall associates for benefits and retirement plan related questions
- Assist with absence management such as paid and unpaid leave, outsourced FMLA, Short-Term & Long-Term disabilities
- Processes changes and updates to benefit elections, retirement contributions, health savings, wellness, and personnel information
- Audit time records and attendance processing and interface with managers to ensure accuracy of information
- HRIS super user and trainer for the HR team and Kendall associates
- Assist with benefits presentations at new hire orientation
- Provide data analytics and compensation analysis
- Develop ad hoc financial and operational reporting as needed
- Participates in HR related projects, developing spreadsheets, consolidating data, analyzing data, drawing appropriate conclusions and recommendations
- Assist in the documenting of related processes
- Perform other duties and projects as assigned

What you'll need:
- Work Experience: 3 years' experience in a payroll, compensation, benefits role within a human resources or accounting department; strong knowledge of federal and state regulations
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Human Resources, Business or at least four years of experience in compensation, payroll, and payroll tax within a multi-state employer
- Analytics/Computer Skills: Prior experience working with HRIS systems; intermediate Excel skills (i.e. pivot tables, VLOOKUP)
- Organization Skills: Excellent organizational, ability to multi-task and shift priorities as needed
- Cross-functional skills: Ability to work well cross-functionally; provides excellent internal and external customer service
- Communication Skills: Ability to communicate well with all levels of the organization; excellent negotiating skills; excellent presentation skills to influence, strong interpersonal and customer service skills; high degree of discretion when dealing with sensitive and confidential information

Qualifications we prefer but don't require:
- Certifications: SHRM-CP, PHR, Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) certification
- Computer Skills: Prior experience working with Paycor, previous HRIS systems
