As an adjunct faculty member, you'll have the opportunity to inspire and empower students, aligning your expertise with our institution's mission to provide a student first learning experience! The newly appointed Adjunct Faculty member will be responsible for teaching up to 9 credit hours per semester, as well as revising, reviewing, or developing curriculum as assigned. In addition, they will be required to attend all mandated professional development and training sessions and ensure the collection and submission of student learning assessment data. Active participation in campus and system-wide committees, meetings, projects, and other related activities will also be expected. We are seeking a qualified candidate to teach in the field of psychology who holds a Master's degree in psychology or an acceptable subfield. Acceptable subfields include general psychology, educational psychology, clinical psychology, social psychology, experimental psychology, industrial/organizational psychology, human relations, counseling (including marriage and family therapy and educational counseling), human development, or social work. Alternatively, candidates with a Master's degree in another discipline must have completed at least 18 graduate semester hours in psychology to be considered.
