As a Cocktail Server, you'll blend hospitality and artistry, serving handcrafted drinks and small bites in an atmosphere buzzing with energy, creativity, and connection.

With a prime location in Milwaukee's Theater District, Saint Kate serves as a creative hub for the city, where every aspect of the hotel is inspired by music, painting, sculpture, and design. As part of Marcus Hotels & Resorts, we engage a diverse audience of theater enthusiasts, food connoisseurs, and entertainment seekers.

What will you be doing?

  • Greet and engage guests with warmth, charm, and professionalism.
  • Take beverage and light food orders, providing recommendations and upselling where appropriate.
  • Serve cocktails and food items accurately, promptly, and with attention to presentation.
  • Monitor guest satisfaction and respond promptly and courteously to requests or concerns.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of service areas and lounge seating.
  • Follow responsible alcohol service policies and local/state laws.
  • Handle all payment transactions accurately and responsibly.
  • Collaborate with bartenders and other team members to ensure smooth and efficient service.

What we are looking for:

  • Previous experience in a cocktail or lounge service environment preferred.
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Excellent communication skills, with a friendly and engaging demeanor.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting.
  • Basic math skills for handling payments and closing checks.
  • Ability to learn and describe menu items, cocktails, wines, and spirits.
  • Must meet minimum age requirements to serve alcohol in Wisconsin.
