We are seeking a passionate and driven individual to join our Data for Good team. This role is ideal for someone who believes in the transformative power of data and AI and wants to make the world a better place through impactful storytelling, community building and advocacy.

Snowflake's Data for Good program empowers nonprofits, researchers, and public sector organizations to tackle global challenges by providing access to data and its powerful cloud platform. Through secure data sharing and strategic partnerships, the program supports initiatives in public health, climate action, and social equity. Participants can access curated datasets via Snowflake's Data Marketplace to drive impactful, data-informed decisions. By bridging technology and mission-driven work, Data for Good helps organizations turn insight into action for meaningful change.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Strategic Marketing Leadership:
Develop and execute integrated marketing strategies that align with the "End Data Disparity" mission. Partner with cross-sector stakeholders in public, private, and NGO domains to position the Data for Good movement in a way that drives visibility, adoption and credibility.

2. Program and Campaign Development:
Design, manage, and optimize multichannel marketing campaigns (content, email, paid, social, events, etc) to support programs and initiatives developed by the technical team. Tailor messaging to resonate with varied audiences across public, private, and nonprofit sectors.

3. Brand and Thought Leadership Amplification:
Craft compelling narratives and visual storytelling to promote technical innovations and social impact. Collaborate with technical evangelists to develop content such as whitepapers, case studies, speaking engagements, placements and conference collateral.

4. Community Growth and Engagement:
Build and grow a community of mission-aligned professionals across LinkedIn and other platforms. Activate advocates and influencers to amplify the cause, fostering two-way dialogue and sustained engagement.

5. Strategic Outreach and Partnership Activation:
Proactively engage in relationship-building with technology companies, NGOs, and academic institutions. Build strategic partnerships and coalitions with existing and future Snowflake customers. Facilitate collaboration around concrete Data for Good initiatives that drive measurable impact.

6. Analytics and Optimization:
Leverage data-driven insights to measure campaign performance and community impact. Provide feedback to technical counterparts to continuously align marketing activities with real-world impact.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • 5+ years of experience in marketing, communications, or advocacy.

  • Proven track record of developing and executing integrated marketing campaigns across multiple channels (content, digital, events, social, etc).

  • Deep understanding of the tech ecosystem and data-driven storytelling, with the ability to translate technical concepts into compelling, accessible narratives for diverse audiences.

  • Demonstrated ability to grow and manage digital communities, especially on LinkedIn, and activate advocates and influencers to drive engagement.

  • Passion for using marketing as a tool for advocacy, equity, and impact, with a strong alignment to the mission of ending data disparity.

  • Flexible, self-motivated and able to work autonomously and lead cross-functional teams in a fast-evolving environment.

Creative, entrepreneurial mindset with a willingness to experiment, take risks, and try unconventional approaches to amplify the mission.

The following represents the expected range of compensation for this role:

  • The estimated base salary range for this role is $148,000 - $206,800.
  • Additionally, this role is eligible to participate in Snowflake's bonus and equity plan.

The successful candidate's starting salary will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location. This role is also eligible for a competitive benefits package that includes: medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance; 401(k) retirement plan; flexible spending & health savings account; at least 12 paid holidays; paid time off; parental leave; employee assistance program; and other company benefits.
