Senior Software Engineer

Senior Software Engineer - (employer: Sirius XM Radio LLC; job location: Deerfield Beach, FL) - Lead development of original analytical software tools, and adapt/tailor AI tools, in support of our Automotive software stack and reference platforms. Apply data modelling, analytics, and predictive methodologies to build tools that can provide insight to real-time team demand, capacity and trends, and predict future team capacity vs. demand for variable time frames and across entire Automotive software stack work teams (embedded platform, client, middleware, satellite module). Improve predictive analytics tool to allow scenario planning and scalability across the broader organization. Monitor and report quarterly and per release cycle the actual team capacity as measured against predictive analysis. Provide definition parameters for a tailored AI implementation for improved customer support, qualitative requirements, and documentation. Collaborate closely with internal services and other client teams in Agile/Kanban environment to align software development teams and processes to meet on time Automotive software stack deliveries. Perform Technical Program management and process improvements for Automotive embedded software, satellite module software, middleware, and client application software. Requirements: Master's Degree in Computer Science, Data Science or Engineering (Computer, Electrical, Mechanical or Civil), plus 2 years of experience in the offered position or as software developer or software engineer or Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Data Science or Engineering (Computer, Electrical, Mechanical or Civil), plus 5 years of progressive post-Bachelor's experience in the offered position or as software developer or software engineer. All required experience must have included employing knowledge of automotive software development lifecycle processes, workflows and Agile/Kanban ticket flow to develop real-time embedded software, satellite module software, middleware, reference applications and AAOS client applications; performing data analytics for software domain and data extraction; and using/working with following tools/technologies: data visualization and analysis tools (Jama, Jira and Tableau), programming languages (Python, SQL or C/C++), and other tools (Advanced Excel including macros and VBA, PowerPoint, GitHub, and AI tailoring). #LI-DNI.
