The Athletics Creative Content Coordinator is responsible for developing and executing creative content strategies to promote Utah Tech University's athletics programs, engage fans, and enhance the overall department's brand image. The Creative Content Coordinator will lead a team of content creators and collaborate closely with various department personnel and coaches to ensure a delivery of compelling and consistent content across multiple platforms. This position reports directly to the Associate Athletics Director for Media Relations. Responsibilities
-
- Develop and implement a comprehensive content strategy for Utah Tech University Athletics that aligns with the department's goals and strategies for fan engagement and brand enhancement.
- Create a content calendar to coordinate and organize all department/sport multimedia needs, including key milestones and deliverables for various sports and events.
- Act as Graphic Designer for the Athletics department, including utilizing skills as photographer, videographer, and video editor.
- Oversee the production and delivery of high-quality multimedia content, including videos, graphics and other digital material for all athletic social media platforms, publications, and official athletics website.
- Provide creative direction and guidance to content creators, coaches, and key department stakeholders to foster a collaborative, effective and innovative work environment.
- Monitor social media channels, engage fans, and respond to inquiries and comments in a timely and professional manner.
- Manage content budgets, allocate resources effectively, and evaluate team performance to drive continuous improvement.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in graphic design, multimedia production, or related field required; master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of two (2) years experience in content creation, digital marketing, or related field, preferably within the sports industry.
- Strong proficiency in multimedia production tools and software, such as Adobe Creative Suite software (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and AfterEffects).
- In-depth knowledge of social media platforms, trends, and best practices for engagement and audience growth.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Self-starter and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline driven, work environment.
- Knowledge of print layout and comfortable using Mac computers.

POSITION DETAILS, COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS: Full-time overtime-exempt staff position. Annual salary of $45,000-$48,000 depending on qualifications and experience. Desired start date of August 2025.
