JOB SUMMARY Works under general supervision of physician and/or nurse to provide clinical support to physicians and nurses in delivery of patient clinical care and administrative support. BENEFITS
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION Required
High School Diploma or equivalent
1 year of patient care experience in a physician office practice or Completion of Medical Assistant training
(BLS) BASIC LIFE SUPPORT Certification, course accredited by the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC) by the first day of employment Upon Hire and Medical Assistant certification and maintenance of current certified status obtained through one of the following Upon Hire (CMA) CERT MEDICAL ASSISTANT The American Association of Medical Assistants or (RMA) REG MEDICAL ASSISTANT The American Medical Technologists Association or (NRCMA) NAT REGD CERT MEDICAL ASSISTNT The National Association for Health Professionals or (NCMA) NAT CERT MEDICAL ASSISTANT The National Center for Competency Testing or (NHA-CCMA) Nat Hlthcareer CertClinMedAsst or (RMA) REG MEDICAL ASSISTANT American Allied Health JOB DUTIES
