Job Description

Visa's Global Authentication, Identity & Tap product team is responsible for building solutions to enable seamless e-commerce experiences and help detect and prevent fraud.

The Product Manager for the Authentication, Identity, and Tap team will play a critical role in detailing and articulating the strategic vision of the portfolio of products. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in product strategy and operations, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage and support new strategic product areas, projects, or partnerships as they arise. This role demands a blend of strategic thinking, technical acumen, and operational expertise to develop strategy and narrative documents/presentations, business cases, revenue and expense forecasts, project plans, roadmaps, and business review frameworks. Additionally, the Product Manager will support strategic product areas, including device intelligence and agentic commerce.

Essential Functions

  • Strategic Visioning and Narrative Development:Collaborate with various product owners and regional partners to understand their product visions and translate them into a cohesive strategic narrative across the portfolio.
  • Project Structuring and Reporting:Establish robust project structures and comprehensive reporting frameworks for the Authentication, Identity, & Tap portfolio of products. Ensure transparency and accountability in all project undertakings.
  • Ecosystem Research:Conduct thorough research to understand the ecosystem landscape, including competitors and emerging technologies that impact the product areas of authentication and digital identity. Integrate these insights into the overall portfolio strategy.
  • Business Case Development:Work closely with fellow product managers to develop detailed business cases, including revenue and expense forecasts for the product. Perform build, buy, and partner analyses to optimize product offerings and drive growth.
  • Strategic Initiatives and Partnerships:Support and manage strategic product initiatives and partnerships, including relationships with technology platforms, device intelligence solutions, and agentic commerce. Foster strong collaborations that enhance product capabilities.
  • Collateral and Messaging:Develop compelling collateral and external messaging for various client and industry events. Ensure that messaging is consistent, clear, and effectively communicates the value proposition of Visa's products.

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

  • 5 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelors Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD

Preferred Qualifications

  • 6 or more years of work experience with a Bachelors Degree or 4 or more years of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or up to 3 years of relevant experience with a PhD
  • Previous experience in product management, product strategy, or corporate strategy functions, particularly in the fields of digital identity, authentication, or payments and fraud products.
  • Strong written communication skills, with the ability to distill complex concepts and strategies into clear, executive-level presentations.
  • Proven ability to structure, manage, and coordinate complex workstreams and processes involving multiple stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills, a keen attention to detail, and the ability to think analytically.
  • Effective communicator capable of engaging with both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Exceptional presentation skills, with a track record of delivering impactful presentations to diverse audiences.
Additional Information

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 138,500.00 to 200,700.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
