The Human Resources Technical Projects Lead is responsible for the successful delivery and ownership of key HR program initiatives, particularly related to technology platforms and the integration of AI. This role involves the strategic development and functional design of HR technology and leading the end-to-end project management and optimization of our Human Resources Information Systems (Workday), among other HR related systems and technologies. A significant aspect of this role includes hands-on Workday management and implementation tasks, to drive a culture of continuous learning, employee engagement, maximizing organizational performance, and ensuring our HR technology infrastructure effectively supports the organization. This role partners closely with HR leadership, IT, business stakeholders, and the Senior Manager, HR Operations to identify needs, develop detailed project plans, manage implementation, and ensure successful outcomes.

How You'll Help Our Team Succeed:

  • $143,500 Directly lead and execute Workday and Service Now implementation projects, upgrades, and enhancements, ensuring timely and successful execution, collaborating closely with the Senior Manager, HR Operations, on technical aspects and system integrations.

  • Serve as a subject matter expert for Workday and other HR technologies.

  • In partnership with the Senior Manager, HR Operations and HR Leadership, formulate and execute the strategic vision and objectives of HR technology at the firm, pursuing innovation and initiatives to current and future processes.

  • Develop and maintain HRIS documentation, including process flows, user guides, and training materials, managing these as specific project deliverables.

  • Research, evaluate, and manage the implementation of new HR technologies and integrations to improve efficiency and effectiveness to include leveraging AI.

  • Manage project plans to evaluate the effectiveness of programs through data analysis and feedback, implementing continuous improvements as discrete projects.

  • Stay current on learning trends and technologies, incorporating relevant findings into project plans.

Cornerstone Research is offering a competitive market base salary for this position. A job offer and its corresponding salary will depend on one's geographic location, and how closely a candidate's skills, experience and education match the requirements for the role. At Cornerstone Research, we believe compensation is more than just a base salary. We offer a competitive total compensation package that includes an annual performance bonus and comprehensive benefits including a variety of healthcare plans, paid time off, transit subsidy, wellness benefits and retirement plan contributions.

Salary Range: $143,500.00 - $173,700.00

What You'll Need to Be Successful:

  • 12+ years of progressively responsible Human Resources experience, in a professional services environment preferred.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks with ease, strategically prioritize them and analyze opportunities to make recommendations on new approaches.
  • Strong expertise in the administration and configuration of Workday.
  • Experience leading HRIS implementation projects and upgrades in Workday.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
  • The desire to take initiative and actively contribute to the team and the firm.
  • The ability to communicate effectively and professionally.
  • Strong business acumen and the ability to learn the firm's financial and operational functions.
  • The mindset to provide superior service.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships and influence stakeholders.
  • Experience leading and developing high-performing teams.
  • Strong understanding of HR processes and best practices.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, or a related field, and or equivalent experience.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., SHRM-SCP, CPLP)
