JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Manages the Occupancy staff in day-to-day activities, sets priorities for work and capital projects; promotes safe work practices.
  • Develop and maintain preventive maintenance programs
  • Maintain accurate repair and preventative maintenance documentation; ensure quality of repairs, Occupancy Help Desk and Map Con recordkeeping.
  • Manages contracted work projects; review invoices and obtain estimates from contractors/vendors ensure scope of work is within contracted/budgetary guidelines.
  • Prepares annual Occupancy Department capital project list for approval by Director of EHS & Facilities; recommends the purchase of new equipment as needed.
  • Assists management and Facility Leads with recruiting, selecting and training Occupancy staff
  • Open to Piscataway or Bensalem locations.

RECOMMENDED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School and/or Vocational School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in the skilled trades with progressive facility maintenance supervisory experience and/or equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
  • Thorough knowledge of OSHA standards; ability to operate forklifts, aerial work platforms and other equipment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; both verbal and written.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, Excel, Word and other position related software.
