The Head Girls Track and Field Coach is responsible for designing and implementing a comprehensive track and field program that is aligned with the overall mission of Divine Savior Holy Angels and the Divine Savior Holy Angels Athletic Department. The Head Coach will oversee the entire program and coaching staff. Job Start-End Date: The spring season officially begins March 16 and ends June 6, 2026. There may be meetings and open gyms prior to the official start of the season. Application Closing Date: Will remain open until filled. Responsibilities: The Head Track and Field Coach must have the ability to run the entire track and field program, teach skills, hire outstanding assistants, and make connections with players, families and the entire DSHA community. In addition, it is expected that the new Track and Field Coach will have a strong sense of how to maximize the teams' talent and move the program to the next level. Communication with the Athletic Director, Student-Athletes and Parents is an important part of the position, as well as the ability to plan and support the athletic program and athletic policies. Qualifications: It is expected that the successful candidate will have several years of coaching experience, preferably at the varsity level. To succeed at the high school level, the Head Track and Field Coach must understand the importance of education-based athletics, be able to communicate clearly and respectfully to young student-athletes and their families, and be able to create a coaching staff that will work well together and enlist their help to run a successful program at the JV and Varsity levels. The candidate must also have a strong commitment to the academic achievement of student-athletes, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work amiably with student-athletes, administrators, and faculty.
