Summary:

The ERP Supply Chain Master Data team oversees core item and contract data to support all domestic hospitals and clinics at CHRISTUS Health, functioning as a first line of defense to help ensure proper data and policies are adhered to related to supplies and contracts. An advanced understanding of item and contract data attributes is critical to the success of the team as errors impact multiple business units and overall system functionality.

The ERP Supply Chain Master Data Analyst (Analyst) works in a collaborative, in-person, team environment, to build and maintain critical supply data to ensure it is current and accurate in multiple ERP systems. This involves working with vendors and internal business partners alike to support all domestic hospitals and clinics. The Analyst must remain aware of and support both internal and regulatory changes to ensure data remains accurate, following organizational policy and methodologies.

Responsibilities:

  • The Analyst is responsible for supporting Supply Chain operational efficiency throughout the CHRISTUS Health ERP systems. This entails:
  • Process ServiceNOW tickets, ensuring requests are processed accurately, adhering to defined standards and severity protocols.
  • Critically analyze templates to add or update data ensuring guidelines are adhered to.
  • Exercise discretion and judgement when managing the service tickets, ensuring the proper priority, criticality, and rationale of the service ticket is an appropriate request, or not.
  • Escalate critical issues to management related to any aspect of item and/or contract management.
  • Critically analyze templates to add or update data, ensuring guidelines and processes are adhered to.
  • Knowledge of healthcare specific supply will assist in data accuracy and continuity.
  • Assist in the audit of data to validate data elements are accurate, including, but not limited to expense account, description, part number, packaging, contract cost, supply type, charge code, UNSPSC, UDI-DI, GMDN, HCPCS.
  • Partner with internal teams at the corporate office, as well as within the ministries, in a timely manner ensuring there is avoid delay on downstream systems and processes that are dependent on critical item and contract data.
  • Load contract pricing into one, or more, ERP systems.
  • Maintain a foundational knowledge of clinical and financial environments within healthcare.
  • Seek opportunity to improve internal process with the ability to quickly adapt to transition.
  • Assist with Contract Conversion Launch Packages (CLP) and vendor consolidations as directed.
  • Determine priorities as appropriate to manage a diverse set of tasks with minimal guidance.
  • Ability to work with aggressive timelines in a team environment with a desire to learn and grow.
  • Provide professional, and polite customer service ensuring resolution has been achieved.
  • Assist with education and training as necessitated based on current needs as identified by leadership.
  • Must be fluent in the use of Microsoft Office products, Excel primarily.
  • Must be detailed with the ability to follow and enforce defined process and policy.
  • Must have demonstrated ability to organize, and prioritize, varying projects and requirements to meet multiple deadlines.
  • Must be driven to succeed with a desire to help others.
  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to communicate with all levels of personnel in a large organization.
  • Responsibilities will be modified as determined by leadership and/or business requirements, maintaining flexibility to adapt.

Job Requirements:

Education/Skills



  • Bachelor's degree, or in lieu of, a high school diploma with 3 plus years of Supply Chain, or relatable healthcare experience.


Experience



  • 1 - 3 years of experience preferred.
  • Supply Chain processes, preference given if also within healthcare.
  • Analysis of data attributes.


Licenses, Registrations, or Certifications



  • None Required.
