(website reverts to WKC) Job Summary:The Army Training with Industry service member will be assigned under the Government Solutions Directorate, with technical oversight from the Global Physical Operations Directorate, in order to be immersed in the environment of solving day to day U.S. Military petroleum requirements from the operational to the industrial level. The service member will work directly for the Senior Director Government Solutions for full integration across all commercial business lines within the company. The service member will provide subject matter expertise in advising the leadership on the military requirements while simultaneously learning the industrial process, project management, and commercial business practices of World Fuel. Specifically, the service member will assist in responding to urgent fuel request by the U.S. Military Departments, the Defense Logistics Agency - Energy (DLA-E), and assisting in collaborative planning with Military departments and Combatant Commands (CCMDs). The service member will be required to complete a capstone project that provides a tangible benefit to their service by utilizing commercial best practices to solve an existing or emergent military petroleum gap.
