Job Summary:The Army Training with Industry service member will be assigned under the Government Solutions Directorate, with technical oversight from the Global Physical Operations Directorate, in order to be immersed in the environment of solving day to day U.S. Military petroleum requirements from the operational to the industrial level. The service member will work directly for the Senior Director Government Solutions for full integration across all commercial business lines within the company. The service member will provide subject matter expertise in advising the leadership on the military requirements while simultaneously learning the industrial process, project management, and commercial business practices of World Fuel. Specifically, the service member will assist in responding to urgent fuel request by the U.S. Military Departments, the Defense Logistics Agency - Energy (DLA-E), and assisting in collaborative planning with Military departments and Combatant Commands (CCMDs). The service member will be required to complete a capstone project that provides a tangible benefit to their service by utilizing commercial best practices to solve an existing or emergent military petroleum gap.

Essential Criteria

  • Must be an Army service member selected by the Army Quartermaster School for TWI
  • Must possess a U.S. Secret Clearance
  • Must have 10 years or more of petroleum experience
  • Must be willing to sign a non-disclosure agreement (NDA)

Working Conditions:

  • Service member will be assigned to the Miami office
  • Service member must be willing to travel as required for training to various locations

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Service member is still serving on active duty and receive no monetary benefits from the company
  • World Fuel will provide required automation for training in order to be immersed inside the company
  • World Fuel will provide required travel expenses through a cooperate travel card in order to accomplish training opportunities outside of the Miami office
