POSITION PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES
In conjunction with department leadership, this role implements marketing and public relations strategies to promote and enhance the organization's brand and reputation. This position is responsible for coordinating the creation and distribution of traditional marketing materials as well as managing the day-to-day relationship with the Bank's external communications/public relations agency. This position monitors and analyzes marketing and PR metrics to measure the effectiveness of campaigns and initiatives. This role will also collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment with overall business objectives and messaging.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
* Minimum 3+ years' experience in marketing and public relations (agency or in-house experience considered), required.
* Experience in the banking industry, preferred.
* Demonstrated familiarity with Kadince (or other project management system) and Business Wire, preferred.
* Strong MS Office skills including, but not limited to: SharePoint, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook, required.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
* Marketing - 45%
* In conjunction with department leadership, develops and executes marketing programs and promotional strategies.
* Drafts communications, delivers messaging, and analyzes campaign performance.
* Reviews and edits messages to ensure that they are clear, thorough, on-brand, and seek to promote the company's brand.
* Suggests ways of tailoring messages and delivery channels based on the targeted audience.
* Plans marketing activities that extend across multiple traditional (i.e., non-digital) marketing channels, including sponsorships, out of home, print, etc.
* Coordinates the distribution of internal and external non-digital marketing materials.
* Completes marketing administrative projects that include running reports or conducting research.
* Public Relations - 45%
* Manages day-to-day relationship, communication and scheduling with external Public Relations/Communications agency.
* Coordinates with PR agency and internal Republic Bank teams to identify earned media opportunities for Republic Bank.
* Partners with PR agency to draft & edit news releases, memos, statements and other content.
* Work across all markets Republic Bank serves to ensure PR efforts are tailored, as appropriate, to the market(s).
* Analyzes media coverage and drafts reports to socialize with key internal stakeholders.
* May purchase advertising time and space.
* Promotional Items - 10%
* Manage promotional item catalog of standard item development and custom items specific to each market.
* Manage ordering, inventory, and delivery to banking centers.
* Work with vendors to ensure cost efficiency.
* Manage promotional items budget.
* Maintain a working knowledge of compliance requirements affecting your position and area of responsibilities and actively learn new regulations and assist in the implementation, if required.
