Extrusion Operator

Pay: $16/hr

Shift: Rotating 12-hour shifts (2-2-3 schedule), 8 AM - 8 PM

Responsibilities

• Meet daily production goals consistently
• Change screens on the hour, every hour
• Manage material flow from the screen changer, diverter, vent, and recycling systems
• Skim water holding tanks hourly and ensure the extruder vent remains clear
• Assist feeder operations to maintain continuous extruder running
• Package pellets using optimal box and skid choices
• Clean Gaylord liners and weigh boxes of finished materials
• Complete all required paperwork and accurately fill out PRT labels
• Properly store finished materials and reprocess overflow material from the feed hopper
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area

Requirements

• Previous experience in warehouse picking/packing and RF scanner operation preferred
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for 8+ hours during shifts
• Strong attention to detail with basic math and reading skills
• Flexibility to work overtime and weekends when needed
• Fluent in English (speaking, reading, and writing)
• Reliable, safety-conscious, and a team player
