A cutting-edge manufacturing company in Vista, CA-renowned for designing and producing advanced composite solutions for top-tier clients-is looking for a Quality Inspector to join their quality-driven team. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity offered through Staffmark for professionals with 2-3 years of experience in quality control who want to be part of a fast-paced, innovation-focused environment governed by AS9100 and ISO standards.

Hours & Pay

Shift: Monday-Friday | 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Pay Range: $22-$27/hour, depending on experience

Employment Type: Temp-to-perm

Your Role at a Glance

As a Quality Inspector, you'll play a vital role in ensuring that every product meets stringent customer and regulatory requirements. You'll conduct inspections throughout the production cycle and collaborate across departments to drive continuous improvement in quality and performance.

Key Responsibilities:



  • Perform mechanical, physical, and visual inspections of raw materials, components, and finished goods
  • Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and GD&T specifications
  • Accurately use precision measuring tools and inspection equipment
  • Execute incoming, in-process, and final goods inspections in compliance with customer specifications
  • Document and report findings, track non-conformances, and verify rework acceptability
  • Maintain inspection logs, SPC charts, Certificates of Conformance, and inspection plans
  • Participate in internal audits and assist with corrective action follow-ups
  • Ensure product traceability and maintain database integrity for inspection records
  • Collaborate with production, engineering, and quality teams to resolve inspection-related issues
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and suggest process enhancements

What You Bring to the Table



  • High school diploma or GED
  • 2-3 years of experience in a manufacturing quality control role
  • Experience in composite manufacturing is strongly preferred
  • Strong understanding of inspection procedures, technical documentation, and measurement tools
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint) and Adobe Acrobat
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented setting
  • Comfortable working in both office and shop floor environments, with the ability to lift up to 25 lbs
  • Commitment to safety, accuracy, and continuous learning
