As a member of the Commercial Real Estate division, this role is responsible for overseeing the loan servicing staff, process and work flow and ensuring the integrity of the loan files and system(s) data. Also responsible for compiling and preparing both periodic and ad hoc reports for management. Maintains quality control and effectiveness of department procedures and ensures compliance with Bank standards and practices. Responsible for ongoing analysis of work flow and procedures. Provide high quality customer service and support to colleagues, clients and other internal partners.

Job Accountabilities

  • Responsibilities include the oversight of the asset quality rating changes to ensure proper loan loss reserves for the Commercial Real Estate division.
  • Coordinate and monitor the calculation and preparation of pay off and in some cases issues partial release pay off statements for borrowers, closing agents and attorneys. Ensure proper release of collateral.
  • Oversee the CRE Loan Servicing staff and work flow, and ensure they properly trained to perform their responsibilities. Effectively communicate and enforce the company's policies and procedures as related to the CRE Division Loan Servicing staff including involvement with other departments throughout the Bank when Banking laws and Regulations change.
  • Research solutions and address external and internal customer concerns promptly and efficiently.
  • Administer casualty loss claims, code violation issues and other when requested.
  • Ensure the portfolio administration and risk management of each client relationship is in compliance with established Associated Banc-Corp credit policy, procedure and business strategy as well as commercial and regulatory guidelines. Maintain current awareness and understanding of appropriate banking laws, regulations, internal policies and procedures, and to fully comply with same.
  • Prepare or oversees the preparation of various reports for the Commercial Real Estate Division, which entails compiling the data from multiple sources, summarizing the data based on the need, as well as collaboration with internal partners to understand, validate and/or reconcile the data. Reports are used for line of business tracking, executive updates, and/or ad hoc regulatory requests. Ad Hoc Reports, Power Point Presentations and Specialty Reports for budget planning completed upon request.
  • Participate in regulatory exams by providing portfolio reporting to OCC examiners.
  • Hosts the quarterly Criticized Classified Loan Review and Construction Loan Review meetings including agenda preparation, risk rating and commitment amount verifications, create and distribute meeting packages.
  • Sales Force Champion for the business unit acting as CRE system administrator.

Education

Associate's Degree in Business, Finance or Accounting or equivalent combination of education and experience Business Required

Experience

4-7 years loan servicing and/or loan administration required

2- years leading, coaching, training and/or mentoring other colleagues required

4-7 years Commercial Real Estate loan servicing and/or loan administration preferred
