Description

APAF Medical Education Summer Intern

This position offers hands-on experience for students interested in exploring career development paths in psychiatry and mental health education within a national mission-driven mental health organization. The student will have the opportunity to learn directly from the Director of Fellowships and Medical Education, as well as the program management team. This role provides exposure to key educational initiatives, program operations, and strategic planning efforts that support workforce development in mental health.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:




  • Assist with the development and coordination of educational materials and resources
  • Support outreach and engagement efforts with current and prospective program participants
  • Attend and contribute to team meetings and events
  • Help track and organize program data and documentation
  • Shadow leadership and participate in mentorship sessions to gain insight into career pathways
  • Contribute to special projects related to fellowship, training, and other APAF program development



This position is ideal for students pursuing studies in psychology, psychiatry, public health, medical education, or related fields.
