What You'll Need:

  • 1 yr of digital color printing experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

What You'll Do:

    • Maintains technical knowledge of all equipment utilized in the Color Department, including printers, laminators, folders and stitching equipment.
    • Ensures that Color Department equipment is producing the highest quality product based on LSI's quality standards through calibration tests and adjustments
    • Works to meet daily departmental goals through interaction with Operators, Operations Leads and Supervisor
    • Works to maximize Color Department Productivity by diagnosing and troubleshooting issues. Ability to make minor repairs, replace consumables as needed, and coordination of service and maintenance with the LSI Maintenance Department/IT.
    • Knowledgeable in LSI product offerings and related paper and printer requirements
    • Understanding of different queues, queue filters and different printer drivers
    • Understanding of printer set-ups regarding paper weight and format size
    • Knowledgeable in DMS system
    • Queues work to printers based on priority level and TAT reports
    • Communicates with leadership for recommended printer setup needs based on current work volume.
    • Monitors printer queues to minimize downtime.
    • Directs associates with the Operations Leads and Supervisor to maximize productivity by shifting labor according to workload.
    • Maintain and monitor system information in DMS as work is processed.
    • Basic knowledge and understanding of the workflow in the Production, Case and Shipping Departments
    • Works as liaison between Production Department, Case Department, Shipping Department and PTO area to gather information on packing groups for queueing prioritization
    • Works with the Operations Leads and Supervisor to provide leadership in the Color Department
    • Communicate Color Department status at shift change with clear and informative information necessary to minimize downtime and ensure shipping TAT times.
    • Monitors associate performance and provides feedback to the associate, Operations Leads and Supervisor

    Pay:

    $22.50/hour + $1/hour Weekend differential (if applicable) + $2/hour Night Shift differential

    Shift:

    B Shift: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday alternating Saturdays from 7am to 7pm.
