JOB DESCRIPTION

The Senior Manager, Marketing is responsible for creating marketing strategies and solutions in support of new innovative care delivery offerings and services to a range of stakeholders including dental patient and provider audiences. This individual leads the marketing strategy and planning process for both short- and longer-term needs. This role will also include the execution of GTM market plans to drive patient acquisition and sales of new product offerings for providers. This includes omnichannel marketing approach - social media, SEO, email campaigns, digital ads, etc.

Additionally, the Sr Manager, Marketing will partner with internal cross-functional teams and external agencies in order to build collateral, assets and channels for the launch of a new innovation clinic and software product offering. This job requires an individual who also has experience participating on a cross-functional team and must be able to lead, implement, and socialize with internal audiences heavily involved with the marketing deployment success. This individual leads and coaches team members to elevate the performance of new innovative offerings.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Builds and supports the overall marketing strategy and marketing plan implementation for new innovative care delivery offerings, including dental medical integration and services and tools to dental patient and provider audiences.
  • Leads and partners on the development and prioritization of marketing plans, leveraging insights and data to inform the prioritization of messaging that will drive awareness, consideration and preference and create engaging, optimal omni-channel experiences.
  • Provides thoughtful insight on strategic marketing efforts and day-to-day management of campaigns in development with a keen sense of detail and organization skills, ensuring the team (internal and external) is executing consistently across multiple channels.
  • Drafts marketing plans and strategies along with ongoing business reviews, gathering information from various peer teams and presenting a cohesive strategy.
  • Works in partnership with marketing and cross-functional teams (such as clinical support, technology, innovation), building an understanding of the market, competitors and customer needs to develop marketing plans and implement initiatives to achieve aggressive sales and retention goals.
  • Responsible for developing marketing communications including value propositions, creative briefs, proposals, content, messaging, and tools.
  • Develops metrics and reports for management and executive management use, creates and leads content presentations for a variety of audiences and partners.
  • Develops and implements program plans including scope, resource requirements, new program ideas, best practice protocols, and communications to drive transformational change; creates and establishes program goals, objectives, and deliverables to reflect program vision, while working in partnership with cross-functional teams.
  • Coaches and develops team members to elevate the business and marketing function; aligns the work of teams/projects with longer-term strategic objectives; role models and coaches others.
  • Leads cross-functionally to achieve team and business goals, driving strategic alignment and decision making via strong collaboration.
  • Performs other duties as requested or assigned.


QUALIFICATIONS

  • A minimum of 8 years of related experience; preference for healthcare, dental, and/or clinical marketing experience.
  • A Bachelors degree in a related field.
  • Ability to travel domestically; averaging 5-7 days per month.
  • Strong end-to-end marketing strategy (upstream) and go-to-market execution (downstream) experience required.
  • Healthcare industry knowledge and experience (such as dental practice or similar patient facing practice).
  • Proven track record of the ability to work collaboratively with internal and external business partners in delivery of ROI positive results.
  • Self-motivated, high-capacity individual who can function and win in a demanding, performance-driven environment.
  • Creative problem solver who can incorporate new learnings into existing plans and act decisively and independently.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills required.
  • Ability to work in an early stage innovative environment.
  • Ability to clearly present written information and findings in reports and presentations.
  • Ability to clearly and concisely communicate concepts.
  • Ability to make executive-level presentations.
  • Ability to interact well with co-workers of various levels in the organization and with outside contacts.
  • Internal Contacts: marketing and cross-functional teams including, but not limited to Sales, Legal, Clinical, Technology, Innovation, and Communication.
  • External Contacts: current and potential innovation clinic staff, providers, and healthcare ecosystem partners.
  • Third party vendors, including third party administrators and marketing agencies.
  • Self-motivated, high capacity individual who can function and win in a demanding, performance-driven environment.
  • Proven track record of the ability to work collaboratively with internal and external business partners in delivery of ROI positive results.

Base Pay Information

The national base pay range at the end is a good-faith estimate of what Delta Dental may pay for new hires. Actual pay may vary based on Delta Dental's assessment of the candidate's knowledge, skills, abilities (KSAs), related experience, education, certifications and ability to meet required minimum job qualifications. Other factors impacting pay include prevailing wages in the work location and internal equity.
Pay Grade 23. $106,400 - $230,600
