Position Summary:
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Senior Marketing Manager.

NYULH is seeking a highly skilled Senior Manager of Marketing & Communications Program Management to support the Cancer, Neurology, Neurosurgery, Otolaryngology, Urology, and Ophthalmology service lines. This role will collaborate closely with the Director of Marketing / Relationship Lead for these service lines to shape communications efforts, optimize NYULH marketing strategies, and drive growth.
Reporting to the Director of Marketing / Relationship Lead for these service lines, this position will play a vital role in collaborating between the Communications, Marketing, Government and Community Affairs (CMGCA) department and the respective service line department chairs to achieve strategic objectives and growth targets.

Job Responsibilities:

Strategic Program Management:

  • Lead the day-to-day management of 360-degree marketing and communications campaigns, as part of the community of practice model
  • Enhance current campaigns, and evaluate outcomes, report on outcomes to clinical leadership, and make strategic adjustments to optimize outcomes as needed
  • Cultivate a deep understanding of the business goals and objectives of the clinical service areas of coverage; participate in the strategic planning process and critical department meetings
  • Develop a deep understanding of unique campaign and project performance metrics enabling comprehensive lookbacks and ongoing stakeholder reporting
  • Utilize effective project management skills to track and remain accountable for all elements of each ongoing project in all covered service lines
  • Identify and assess new opportunities for CMGCA-enabled service line growth, bringing recommendations to the Director / Relationship Lead for discussion
  • Identify compelling patient stories, research studies and complex cases from the clinical departments and develop and execute comprehensive plans to share with patients and peers to enhance the clinical area and our institutions reputation
  • Develop marketing plans to support clinical presence at industry conferences throughout the year across owned channels and in the media
  • Evaluate, prioritize, execute, and track requests for web edits and new pages from clinical areas in collaboration with the Strategy, Digital, and Program Measurement COE
  • Promote the arrival of high-profile new recruits and new centers / programs through 360-marketing plans to inform patients and peers

Stakeholder Relationship Management:

  • Act as a key day-to-day partner to service line department heads, assisting in execution of marketing and communications strategies
  • Play a vital role in triaging and executing requests from department leads, partnering with teams across all CMGCA Centers of Excellence, including enterprise communications, strategy, digital, and program measurement, media relations, government and community affairs, and brand experience, creative, and design.

Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with teams across the departments various Centers of Excellence to ensure campaigns have incorporated all perspectives, are in alignment with strategic objectives, and will maximize return on investment
  • Collaborate with the Strategy, Digital, and Program Measurement COE to establish measurement strategies and key performance indicators (KPIs); integrate these metrics into decision-making processes to maximize return on investment
  • Collaborate with physicians, researchers, and marketing experts to identify growth opportunities and position content effectively
  • Educate stakeholders about CMGCAs offerings and how they can support clinical leaders

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in marketing, communications, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in healthcare or hospital operations
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a highly matrixed environment
  • Adept at building rapport and exhibiting strong interpersonal skills, with a proven track record in building and maintaining relationships
  • Exceptional leadership skills, demonstrating the ability to influence, teach, inspire, motivate, and collaborate effectively
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to learn and apply data-driven insights
  • Excellent project management, communication, and data analysis skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with Cancer, Neurology, Neurosurgery, Otolaryngology, Urology, and/or Ophthalmology clinical services and/or in a related healthcare field

NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York state Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $81,325.15 - $120,000.00 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
