As an Internal Audit Analyst, you will play a key role in ensuring compliance, identifying risks, and improving operational efficiency across the organization. What you will do as an Internal Control Analyst:

  • Conduct internal audits to assess the effectiveness of internal controls, identify areas of potential risk, and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Review financial records, operational processes, and company policies to ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Ensure that resources are acquired economically, used efficiently, and adequately protected.
  • Develop and complete audit plans, including the identification of key risk areas and the creation of audit testing procedures.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather information, analyze data, and assess the adequacy of controls.
  • Prepare clear and concise audit reports detailing findings, recommendations, and action plans.
  • Monitor the implementation of audit recommendations and ensure timely resolution of identified issues.
  • Stay up-to-date with regulatory requirements, emerging risks, and standard methodologies in internal auditing.
  • Assist in the development and enhancement of internal audit methodologies, tools, and processes.
What you will need:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in internal auditing, risk management, or a related role.
  • Strong understanding of internal control concepts, risk assessment methodologies, and auditing standards.
  • Proficiency in using audit software, data analytics tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
  • Professional certifications such as Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), or similar qualifications are a plus.
  • Experience in using data visualization tools or programming languages for data analysis is desirable.

Location: Remote. Only considering MN residents at this time.

Compensation:

73,653.00 - 106,808.00 USD Annual
