Intern, Finance Indirect

Core Responsibilities:

• Primary responsibility: Assist Finance team with special projects
• Assist with interface between Accounts Payable and Purchasing
• Serve as interface between accounting and shared services
• Assist with fixed assets cycle counting

Qualifications:

• Basic understanding of accounting practices.
• Strong analytical skills
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
• Excellent time management, planning and communication (written and verbal) skills
• Must be self-motivated and have the ability to exercise initiative and work independently
• Strong Computer skills in MS Office such as Word, Excel, Power Point, SharePoint and other web applications
• Ability to work independently, and to manage simultaneous work assignments and projects

• Currently enrolled in an accredited college/university as a rising junior or senior, pursuing a Bachelor's degree, or in a Master's Degree program.
• The ideal candidate would be pursuing a 4-year Business degree in preparation for full time employment at the East Granby Division in the future.
