Account Manager

SUMMARY

The Account Manager is responsible for representing the entire range of Company products to assigned accounts, while leading the customer account planning cycle and ensuring assigned customers' needs and expectations are met.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Develop and implement a
    long term sales strategy to maximize revenue and market share.
  • Leads all aspects of the sales process for an assigned set of accounts.
  • Leads solution development efforts that best address customer needs.
  • Proactively assesses, clarifies, and validates customer needs on an ongoing basis.
  • Develop, present, or
    respond to proposals for specific customer requirements, including request
    for proposal responses and industry-specific solutions.
  • Prepare and deliver
    technical presentations that explain products or services to customers and
    prospective customers.
  • Works collaboratively with Engineering Advisors, Operations, and management resources in order to meet account performance objectives and customers' expectations.
  • Completes strategic customer account plans that meet Company standards.
  • Meets assigned targets for profitable sales volume and strategic objectives in assigned accounts.
  • Delivers consistent messaging across entire customer base in support of the Company's strategy and vision.
  • Establishes productive, professional relationships within assigned customer accounts.
  • Develops new prospective accounts through cold calling and prospecting.
  • Maintains high customer satisfaction ratings that meet Company standards.
  • Maintains accurate customer account information.
  • Completes required training and development objectives within the assigned time frame.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree preferred; High School degree required or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years of sales experience required.
  • Experience in Oil and Gas industry required.
  • Experience in completions operations and hydraulic fracturing preferred.
  • Ideally candidate will have an understanding of hydraulic fracturing engineering like gel loading, proppant selection, fracture geometry and perforation design.
  • Valid Driver's License with good driving record required.

  • Established Networking in the industry.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
  • Effective public speaking and presentation skills required.
  • Proven ability to deliver effective technical presentations to existing and prospective clients.
  • Established track record selling products and services requiring extensive technical expertise and support.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Excellent computer skills (e.g. MS Business Suite) required.
