The new National PDS for IPS Specialty Practice launched February 2025 and is growing rapidly. Our mission is to partner with and evolve alongside JLL's IPS Specialty Brokerage Services Teams to:

Position Overview

JLL Project and Development Services is seeking an experienced leader to join our new and rapidly growing National PDS for IPS Specialty Practice. As Vice President of National IPS Accounts Solutions, you will serve as one of our organization's top-five experts supporting business growth across our portfolio accounts. You will collaborate with PDS Business Leaders and Regional IPS Account Services SMEs to develop tailored solutions for high-value portfolio clients while ensuring consistent, excellent service delivery across all Americas markets.

The ideal candidate possesses exceptional leadership qualities, a proven sales track record, and a passion for client success in this high-growth business area.

Key Responsibilities

Sales and Business Management

  • Serve as a top-tier IPS business expert within the PDS organization (top 2% most knowledgeable)
  • Drive firm growth through sales and customized solutions specifically tailored to IPS Portfolio clients
  • Develop strategic plans to achieve growth targets, revenue generation, and profitability goals
  • Foster a proactive sales culture promoting cross-selling opportunities across accounts, PDS services, and industry verticals
  • Leverage established National Practice best practices and IPS solutions
  • Identify key market trends, client needs, and emerging opportunities
  • Collaborate with regional/market leaders to implement custom client solutions aligned with National standards
  • Monitor financial performance metrics across portfolios and identify improvement opportunities
  • Conduct periodic QBRs on assigned accounts to measure performance and identify best practices

Team Leadership and People Development

  • Support development of service excellence capability through regional leaders, SMEs, and account managers
  • Foster a collaborative IPS community of practice promoting inclusion, teamwork, ethics, and excellence
  • Provide coaching and mentorship enabling professional growth and development
  • Identify training needs to enhance team capabilities
  • Promote diversity, equity, and inclusion within the team
  • Support talent recruitment and upskilling to secure new clients and grow existing relationships

Client Relationship Management and Success

  • Develop strong relationships with IPS brokers and clients as a trusted advisor
  • Collaborate with program managers to understand client constraints and objectives
  • Provide strategic guidance to regional teams in addressing client concerns and complex issues
  • Monitor service excellence and client satisfaction levels
  • Lead and participate in strategic client events including JLL-hosted events and industry conferences

Contribute to developing and evolving the National IPS Specialty Practice through ownership of tactical and strategic initiatives

  • Prepare the organization for rapid growth significantly beyond base year 2024, (88 accounts to 450)
  • Dedicate National Platform SMEs (top-2% talent) with Brokerage at POS leveraging deep IPS service knowledge, sales experience & capitalize on repetition
  • Develop & enable consistent IPS service delivery capability across the Americas
  • Expand and evolve services specifically tailored to IPS client needs and pricing constraints
  • Configure PDS global technologies, data and live dashboards for portfolios clients
  • Prepare our operating model to support growth & serve clients with excellence. Designated SPOCs at each account
  • Simplify, remove inertia, complexities and broker burden

  • Develop Client Knowledge database and BI capability
  • Organize a community of practice enabling peer group cross pollination of ideas, best practice and collaboration with hundreds of IPS Account Leads serving hundreds of IPS Clients on a scale that expected to grow 5-7 times larger over next 3 yrs

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Construction, Engineering or related field
  • Proven experience in relationship-based account service delivery, sales and business management (preferably in commercial real estate and/or retail multi-site)
  • Strong financial acumen with demonstrated ability to drive portfolio performance
  • Exceptional leadership skills with ability to mentor and develop high-performing teams
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities to engage stakeholders at all levels
  • Strategic thinking capabilities to anticipate and navigate complex client challenges
  • Track record of building strong client relationships and driving client success
  • Results-oriented mindset with commitment to achieving ambitious sales targets
  • Availability for frequent travel
  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management
  • Min 10 Years of Managing Large Dynamic Teams
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in managing design and construction of multiple projects across a broad geography.
  • Experience in Building and Delivering Capital Planning
  • Must have 5+ years of managing over 10 experienced professionals.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

LEADERSHIP& ADVISORY SUPPORT TO PDS REGIONS & MARKETS

  • Demonstrated ability to develop and manage a strong team of professionals focused on delivering value to portfolio clients while working within the process requirements of the client and JLL.
  • Plays a lead role in developing and executing an integrated strategy for their team to support success of the business unit's overall strategy.
  • Liaise across multiple internal and external teams receiving strategy from retail client, external design team providing test fits, regional Architect & Engineering partners implementing standards, select general contractors executing refurbishment scope, coordinating with non-construction partners for merchandising, technology, fixtures, furniture, and branding.


RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT | CLIENT SERVICE

  • Demonstrate the ability to create a solution oriented environment whereby the regional team is consistently seeking to identify leading edge project management practices focused on delivering value to the client while working within the process requirements of the client and JLL.
  • Provide regional perspective and input to the Center of Excellence team on components that drive enhanced service delivery for the region, and support in their development.
  • Ensure team leads and project managers are fully aligned and exceed cascaded Client targets and the account business plan. Make certain team fully supports programs and initiatives and proactively identify opportunities for improving processes and deliverables while ensuring team is in full compliance with all applicable requirements. Ensure the team is driving and supporting all new and existing programs initiated nationally and that they are delivering projects to meet customer needs.
  • Exceed delivery of agreed to Service Line Agreements (SLAs) and Key Performance Indicator's

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

  • Ability to effectively identify and mitigate project risks before they impact service delivery to the client.
  • Strong understanding of real estate life cycle and proven ability to collaborate with transaction managers, facility managers, engineers, and planning teams to deliver a comprehensive solution for our clients.
  • A strong working knowledge of accounting and financial reporting, budgeting, scheduling and process as they relate to corporate real estate.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and strong analytical skills.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and Microsoft Project scheduling software

Estimated total compensation for this position:

228,000.00 - 228,000.00 USD per year

The total compensation range is an estimate and not guaranteed. An employment offer is based on an applicant's education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, internal equity and alignment with market data .
