Clinic Coordinator - Lead (2nd Floor)

Why M Physicians?

The Clinic Appointment Coordinator maintains a welcoming, friendly profile in the clinic and is responsible for the professional and efficient operation of scheduling. This role is responsible for scheduling and coordinating multiple services including follow up appointments, imaging, labs, procedures, and some treatments. The Clinic Appointment Coordinator also collaborates with providers, clinic staff, schedulers, across multiple departments, and locations to ensure services are timed, coordinated, and sequenced appropriately and all associated activities are complete.

What you will do as a Clinic Coordinator - Lead:

  • Serves as a specialty-specific clinic resource and subject matter expert
  • Proactively finds opportunities for improvement and assist management with a minimum of 2 projects per year and as needed
  • Takes leadership role with clinic partners and stays current with Joint Commission standards and regulatory standards to assist in regulatory readiness and clinic preparedness
  • Consistently collaborate with Concierge, Call Center, clinical teams, and leadership to foster good relationships between and within teams
  • Manages pre-appointment activities such as arranging accommodations or scheduling interpreter services for patients visit
  • Float to other clinics and help perform Clinic Coordinator duties as needed
  • Attends and actively participates in daily clinic huddles
  • Supports business needs of the clinic by completing administrative tasks needed for team to complete their work
  • Monitor provider schedules, clinic waitlist, recalls, work queues and reschedules
  • Registers and schedules referrals for new patients

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Two years of post-high school education or related healthcare specialty experience or office management education/ training
  • 12 months of Senior Clinic Appointment Coordinator experience or comparable experience in a similar role
  • Three professional recommendations from clinical or operational leadership
  • Excellent EMR skills: Experience using Epic, and related scheduling and reporting systems

Location: M Health Fairview Clinic and Surgery Center - 909 Fulton St SE, Minneapolis, MN 55455

Hours: 1.0 FTE + actual hours for all Union roles (All shifts will be posted 14 days prior to the shift per Union Contract)

Compensation:

23.14 - 31.84 USD Hourly
