What You'll Do



Summary/Objective:

The Mortgage Servicing Team Member is responsible for ensuring the input, auditing, and maintenance of all mortgage data.

Essential Functions:

    • Answer incoming phone calls, as part of a phone queue, to address member questions and requests
    • Input and book all mortgages on the DCU's servicing platform, quote and accept payoffs, and respond to various member servicing inquiries and requests.
    • Perform file maintenance duties including, but not limited to: discharge research and preparation, loan corrections, subordinations, credit disputes, research GL variances, and loss draft processing
    • Complete assigned service requests within the established department timeframes and effectively communicate with members as needed.
    • Assist and support functions for loan boarding and the preparation of documents for loan sales
    • Process department inbound correspondence received through e-mail, fax, or standard mail.
    • Perform support functions to ensure all closing and post-closing processes are complete.
    • Ensure compliance with all applicable state and federal laws and regulations.
    • Perform other job-related duties as assigned by Manager (s).



    What You'll Need




    • High School diploma or equivalent
    • 1-3 years of mortgage or related experience
