Key Position Details:

**This is a remote position but will be required to travel up to 50% of the time. Candidate must live within commuting distance of the Allina Commons in MPLS, MN.**
  • 1.0 FTE (80-hours per 2-week pay period)

Job Description:

Develops and maintains strong alliances with providers and accounts in a defined service area. Executes strategic initiatives to increase awareness, loyalty and preference to Allina Health services and programs. Works cohesively with leadership and service line administrators to drive and sustain growth in procedural and ambulatory services aligned with both the market and enterprise business plans and strategies. Identifies provider and practice targets to achieve growth through utilization of Allina's data analytic tools and other forms of research. Delivers prospective outreach growth plans and retrospective performance reviews to leadership on a routine basis. Completes field visits to providers and referral staff in offices, securing opportunities for providers to enhance connection and regular interaction with executive leaders, service line administrators, and Allina providers.

Principle Responsibilities

  • Market Development
    • Collaborates with leadership to identify and align on key provider and account targets and initiate relationships with system leadership (service line leadership, medical directors, market presidents etc.).
    • Works with market and service line leadership to understand the medical needs of the community and market and integrates into growth planning.
    • Recognized by internal stakeholders as the field extension for the leadership team, and the primary market intelligence contributor for network and program development planning.
    • Establishes account plans and align with team on targets, objectives, metrics, and timelines.
    • Incorporates a holistic system approach to business development. Plans include not just provider and account targeting, but responsive service recovery and pull through strategies with internal administrators.
  • Outreach
    • Maintains a working knowledge of additional network and ancillary opportunities.
    • Leads various growth activation and improvement projects and contributes regularly to system level growth initiatives.
    • Addresses operational and site-specific issues across multiple locations and teams.
    • Manages longitudinal relationships with established affiliated practices, focusing on continued engagement and expansion of care alignment opportunities.
    • Effectively prioritizes outreach efforts to maximize quality time on growth opportunities.
    • Maintains a regular presence in the facilities, service lines and accounts the manager represents.
    • Manages provider and account relationship and reports internally on progress.
    • Functions as a key liaison to provide information and drive accretive growth in alignment with service lines, leadership, providers and administrators.
  • Data Analytics
    • Develops competencies for all available data analytic tools then leverages information from these reports to develop outreach growth plans.
    • Aggregates and shares competitive intelligence and opportunities in a way that facilitates and encourages discussion and positions opportunities for operational improvements.
    • Understands how to interpret data from internal and external sources to swiftly identify and manage leakage and capitalize on growth opportunities.
  • Marketing and Communications
    • Helps to coordinate development of marketing tools and collateral as needed in the field.
    • Coordinates and conducts educational events, meet and greets, and provider connections.
    • Positions Allina as partner of choice, conveying partnership value, tailoring conversations as appropriate to practices unique needs and value drivers.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or Healthcare related field
  • 5+ years experience working in medical sales, provider relations, clinical program development or physician practice management
  • 1+ year Project management experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Business or Healthcare related field
  • 1+ year Event management experience
  • 5+ years Sales experience, preferably in health care related industry

Pay Range

Pay Range: $55.24 to $76.43 per hour The pay described reflects the base hiring pay range. Your starting rate would depend on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, your experience and education. Additional incentives may be available, including discretionary monetary bonuses, goal-based bonuses, and other financial incentives.
