Maintenance Technician

Position Type: Direct Hire

Position Location: Pasadena, TX

Position Pay: $30/HR - $35/HR (Depending on Experience)

Responsibilities:



  • Provide general maintenance support to the site facility in a safe and effective manner.
  • Responsible for catalyst changes and unit turnarounds, running tubing and piping, and general maintenance (i.e. facility lighting, plumbing and grounds).
  • Rebuild and install pumps, build tube exchangers, and troubleshoot equipment.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area.
  • Follow all facility procedures and safe work practices by fully participating in the facility's safety programs.
  • Support the catalyst production area and expansion project as needed by keeping the machines operational.
  • Grease and lube the machines, perform diagnostics, and maintain broken equipment.
  • Relocate power lines/supply to different buildings and decommission electrical panels.
  • Troubleshoot instrumentation problems, perform new installations, and calibrate/tune process equipment.


Requirements:



  • High school diploma or GED equivalent; Higher education is a plus


  • 5+ years of maintenance experience in a plant environment.
  • Strong tubing and piping abilities.
  • Strong instrumentation, electrical and/or mechanical experience preferred.
  • Experience working in a safety-conscious work environment.
  • History of good attendance.
