Temporary WV Agritourism Promotion Campaign Coordinator - Division for Land-Grant Engagement

The Division for Land-Grant Engagement at West Virginia University is currently accepting applications for a WV Agritourism Promotion Campaign Coordinator. This position will support a statewide marketing and promotion campaign for agribusinesses involved in the WV Farm Crawl Initiative. This initiative is geared towards growing 'visitor-ready' operations to generate income from agritourism, boost agricultural sales, diversify product lines and markets, and allow customer feedback, which helps grow profitable agritourism operators and viable rural communities, and keep dollars circulating in our local economies. This initiative will help expand education and networking opportunities to help build strategic agritourism partnerships, harness community synergies and foster linked prosperity in WV.

What you'll do:

• Populate website with regional farm crawl information
• Develop story maps for 6 regional farm crawls based on videos or reels provided by participants
• Develop social media posts and prepare a digital media plan for disseminating this information

Pay Grade: 13

Length of Assignment: 3 months

Work Hours: 20 hours per week

• Associates degree
• One (1) year of relevant experience preferred
• Any equivalent combination of related education and/or experience will be considered.
• All qualifications must be met by the time of employment.
