Key Responsibilities

You will be responsible for:



  • Responsible for overall direction and control of all sales engineering activities in U.S. South Region.
  • Directs sales engineering leadership team in reaching sales quota, developing new business and maintaining customer satisfaction
  • Continuously mentor and develop the sales engineering team
  • Win major accounts in the U.S. South Region.
  • Lead the team


    • Demonstrating Thought Leadership in how Check Point delivers qualitative advantage to our customers
    • Educate customers, prospects and partners on the diversity of technical, operational and business challenges many organizations face and how Check Point solutions can solve them
    • Active participation in cyber security events
    • Engage and educate key partners and customers on the latest security technologies


  • Manage the Business


    • Manage KPI's and team performance in alignment with:


      • Increasing customer and partner engagement
      • Managing funnel development
      • Ensuring good sales hygiene across the teams
      • Managing the outcomes that result from high engagement



Qualifications

  • 5-8 years of managing Security Engineering Managers and Engineering teams
  • Pre-sales experience required
  • Possess strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Good understanding of typical customers networks
  • Ability to create an end-to-end security solution for a customer's environment
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Relevant certifications highly preferred, e.g. CCNP/CISSP/CCSA/CCSE
