OPPORTUNITY SUMMARY

Cenero is actively seeking an assertive, confident, ambitious problem-solver as their next Inside Sales Support Specialist (Audio Visual and Unified Communications) operating from one of our 4 East Coast offices.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assists in supporting sales engineers with everyday administrative duties and customer contact/retention duties.
  • Assist sales engineers with key account day to day interactions and communications.
  • Assist sales engineers with database account maintenance, order entries and gathering of information for projects.
  • Prepare, send and follow up with customer regarding quotations for box sales, change orders, proposals etc.
  • Perform customer management activities such as follow up phone calls, letters, emails, notifications, etc.
  • Assist sales engineers with any client issues and help coordinate resolution efforts with ancillary Cenero resources such as project managers, service, programming design and logistics.
  • Complete new customer applications and registrations.
  • 'Fine Tune' and prepare customer proposals, revisions and presentation materials prior to meeting, including formatting, printing, binding, etc.
  • Work collaboratively with sales engineers to acquire updated and appropriate pricing for projects from manufacturers and vendor.
  • Assist sales engineers with definition and submission of requirements to engineering for smaller projects communicated via email or over the phone as needed.
  • Assist sales engineers with RFP responses.
  • Close out opportunities in CRM, manage data entry to make sure all information is accurate.
  • Process change order requests and orders from engineering for project managers and sales reps.
  • Maintain a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and embrace a team centric environment.
  • Other duties as assigned.


    Education and/or Experience

    Bachelor's degree or equivalent business experience; 1 to 3 years related and proven sales support experience

    Language

    Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, manuals, publications, financial reports, technical documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers or members of the business community. Ability to write marketing materials, presentations, and articles for publication that conform with a prescribed style and format. Ability to present information to top management, public groups, and/or potential clients.

    Mathematical

    Ability to apply advanced mathematical concepts such as addition, subtraction, division, etc. Ability to calculate and differentiate margin, markup, cost, profit, etc.

    Reasoning Ability

    Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions and definitions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract variables.

    This position begins with the first two months on-site to support onboarding, collaboration, and team integration. After that, it transitions into a hybrid model-blending remote work with regular in-office presence. This approach offers flexibility while maintaining the energy, collaboration, and culture that come from working together in person. You'll get the best of both worlds: the autonomy of remote work and the connectivity of on-site engagement.

    COMPENSATION TRANSPARENCY

    The salary range for the Inside Sales Support Specialist can range from $22.50 per hour to $28.50 per hour.

    The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range. Individual pay is determined by different factors, including work experience, geographic location, job-related skills, education level, position specific certifications, and additional trainings completed.
