Provide accounting advisory support to clients, including implementation assistance with new accounting standards. Assist with Securities Exchange Commission (SEC) regulatory filings for spin-offs, carve-outs, initial public offerings (IPO), debt offerings and other acquisition filings for both domestic and cross-border transactions. Provide conversion services to United States and foreign registered companies that need a change in their financial reporting to U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) or International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). Provide transaction-oriented accounting and reporting assistance for mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, complex capital raising and financing structures, financial instruments, revenue recognition and provide fresh-start accounting support to clients upon emergence from bankruptcy. Assist with staff management, financial metrics of the engagement and preparation and presentation of accounting findings and concepts. Demonstrate in-depth technical accounting knowledge. Pursue business development opportunities. Establish and maintain client relationships and professional networks. WORK SCHEDULE: 40 hours per week, M-F (9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.) JOB REQUIREMENTS: Must have a Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a related field, and 2 years of related work experience; OR a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a related field, and 5 years of post-bachelor's, progressive related work experience. Of the required experience, must have 2 years of experience with the following: Financial auditing with a public accounting or advisory firm, or financial reporting and consolidations with a Fortune 1000 organization; U.S. GAAP; IFRS; and Mergers & acquisitions. Travel to various locations throughout the US required up to 30%. Travel to various international locations required up to 10%.
