Compliance-Dallas-Associate/Vice President-Project Management

The Compliance Technology Office (CTO), is a centralized group within Compliance Engineering that performs the following functions: (i) unify and enhance core Compliance systems; (ii) implement, oversee and deliver strategic Compliance technology solutions; (iii) design, implement and coordinate global Compliance frameworks, and (iv) communicate strategic vision and current status to Senior Compliance Officers, Firm Management, and the GS Board. CTO coordinates Engineering budget, and manages, governs, delivers, and tracks new and existing technology initiatives, enabling Compliance and Compliance Engineering teams to work efficiently and effectively.

Position Overview: The Vice President, Project Manager will be a key leader in driving the Compliance Engineering department's strategic initiatives. Projects for this candidate would include Engineering Excellence (DORA), Artificial Intelligence (AI) tooling, and other important, high visibility Compliance Engineering projects and programs. This role will be responsible for leading complex, cross-functional projects, overseeing the implementation of AI-driven solutions, and promoting a culture of engineering excellence within the department. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in project management, an understanding of AI technologies and their application in financial services compliance, and a proven track record of delivering successful technology projects in a highly regulated environment.

Key Responsibilities:



  • Lead and manage multiple complex projects related to AI adoption, engineering process improvement, and technology modernization within Compliance Engineering.
  • Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Develop detailed project plans, resource allocation strategies, and risk management plans.
  • Track project progress, identify and resolve issues, and ensure timely completion of projects within budget and scope.
  • Ensure all projects adhere to the firm's project management standards and governance frameworks.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams, including developers, operations, and stakeholders, to ensure program success.
  • Monitor program progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Prepare and present program and issue status reports, updates, and presentations to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive program documentation, including technical process documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices for security, scalability, and reliability.



Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree
  • 7+ years of experience
  • Proven experience as a Technical Program or Project Manager, with a track record of successfully delivering complex DevOps programs.
  • Familiarity with AI tools and capabilities is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in program management tools and software, such as JIRA.
  • Proven experience as a Technical Project Manager, with a track record of successfully delivering complex technical projects.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a global team in a fast paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Experience with Alteryx and Tableau is preferred.
