ABOUT THE JOB
- Manage the design, development and implementation of infrastructure and process equipment, ensuring compliance with the quality of manufacturing within the specifications.
- Ensure process capability according to the requirements of products established by the Company and maintain costs associated with such processes within the expected ranges.
- Lead initiatives associated with the engineering and development of project processes and optimization by aligning such developments with the requirements of food quality certifying bodies.
- Develop the Long-Range Capital plan (3-5 years) for the facilities within the regional territory.
- Provide routine reports on the status of projects and initiatives
- Support investigation and evaluation of major equipment and process failures
- Participate and assist in cost reduction teams/projects.
- Support both the optimization in the use of energy resources and the controls associated with environmental variables.
- Support the development of strategies for continuous improvement and savings, seeking to maintain the Industrial facilities within high performance operating ranges and align the Industrial Plants with corporate objectives.
- Travel to the other facilities as required for project work. Travel is estimated at 25% - 50% for this position, with primary focus on the Hattiesburg M.S. facility
- Foster and support Wis-Pak Mission and Culture.

- Travel is required to manage specific projects, work with employees and plant leadership teams, provide follow-up, and interact with various third parties. This position will report to one of our (5) large facilities, or our corporate office in the greater Milwaukee area:
- Watertown Wisconsin
- Mankato Minnesota
- Norfolk Nebraska
- Quincy Illinois
- Hattiesburg Mississippi
- Travel is estimated up to 50% dependent on facility needs within the regional territory. Distance between regional facilities is estimated at 5hr +/- 1-hour range with mileage and expense re-imbursement for work related travel.
- This position requires: the ability to work effectively with all levels of employees, management, and external vendors.
- Strong organizational, analytical, communication, and planning skills; and the ability to effectively influence others as needed are required.
- A background in Program or Change Management or a proven record of developing organizational change is required.
- A Bachelor of Engineering degree is required.
