The Role Your Impact
  • Design and implement software solutions for customer-specific needs. Most often this will be a program to interface with another system, or a program which provides a feature not available in our standard software packages.
  • Organize and lead design workshops with customers.
  • Prepare complex design documents detailing the proposed solution to meet those requirements.
  • Develop software according to design documents.
  • Conduct design and code reviews to ensure completeness, accuracy, and quality.
  • Advise newer members of the team as a technical leader within the group. Document and share knowledge to assist in newer member's technical development.

What You'll Need
  • Bachelors of Science in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering or related field.
  • 3-5 years relevant work experience.
  • Proficiency in computer programming; C and/or Python preferred.
  • Experience with SCADA and/or OT systems.
  • Strong analytical, independent problem solving, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability and flexibility to travel to domestic and international customer sites.
  • Ability to work independently, effectively manage time, and prioritize strategically.
  • Proficiency in technical writing.
  • Experience with or knowledgeable about electric power generation, transmission, and distribution.
  • Expertise in any of the following areas: electric utility operations, control systems, automation, client/server applications, APIs, web services, network communications, operating systems, algorithms, SQL and other database technologies.
  • Familiar using Git for software development
The salary range for this role is $94,700.00 - $118,400.00. This range represents what we in good faith believe is the range possible for base compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range based on several factors. This range may be modified in the future. This role is also eligible for bonus or variable incentive pay. Additionally, we offer a comprehensive benefits package including paid time off, charitable giveback day, medical/dental/vision insurance, and retirement benefits to eligible employees.
